Founders of Kindling Collective
Our Purpose

Kindling Collective was started by a burning desire to have more voices heard in Toronto’s classical theatre community. It is dedicated to sparking new flames in old tales. Our goal is to give opportunities for all voices and stories to be told, and we believe that classical characters should not be bounded by gender, sexuality, race or size, but rather expanded by the diversity actors can bring to them. Kindling Collective aims to take an intersectional feminist perspective to classical works.
